Services

All new clients must book the new client consultation and facial or the new client acne consultation and facial. Please look at the appointment rules before booking. Otherwise please choose from our menu the service that is most appropriate for your time and budget. All skincare is customized at the time of your facial.

72 hours before your facial, avoid:

• Exfoliating

• Retinol serums

• All AHA/BHA chemical exfoliants

• Waxing

• Shaving

Just before your facial:

• Arrive bare faced

• Cleanse your skin

• Don comfy clothes

• Ditch caffeine

This will both prep your skin to get the maximum effect and for you to have a super relaxing experience. Then, I'll get to witching your face.

New client? Be prepared to answer an in-depth consultation on your current lifestyle, digestion and skincare regimen.

• Avoid the sun before

• Wear SPF and apply every 2 hours

• Do not exfoliate for 48-72 hours

Sometimes purging can happen - do not pick your skin. Consult with your service provider directly about concerns.

I love this question, as a person who struggles with gut related auto-immunity and rosacea, I get this!

Those with acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis and/or auto-immune disease - no need to worry. All skin conditions and contraindications are taken very seriously.

New clients must book the new client service. We will focus on healing your skin, exploring your internal health and lifestyle choices to help reduce inflammation. Acne clients should select the Face Reality Acne Program new client service or returning service.

Vagaro is an online booking site. This site operates as a salon receptionist. This is the best way to book appointments. Vagaro respects your privacy and is a secure way for me to save information on our visits and secure future appointments and log what products you use! Vagaro provides security and privacy measures consistent with all rules under the health insurance portability and accountability act (HIPAA).

Our apothecary-style facials by Botnia are lovingly crafted in Sausalito. Organic small batch botanicals nourish the skin for a farm to face facial experience.

Getting here

Resting Witch Facials is located in the vibrant community of Highland Park on York Boulevard. Please allow enough time to park in the neighborhood, mind the street signs and make your appointment on time.

There is limited FREE PARKING in front of the building and on side streets.

 RWF is not responsible for any parking tickets that you may incur. Please be sure to park in a legal space and pay attention to parking signs.

There is ample FREE PARKING on Mesa Street.

Yes!  A select curation of retail from the same brands are available for your purchase at the apothecary → after your service and online.

Depending on the total weight of your items, one of the following shipping options is used:

• U.S. Post Office – First Class Mail

• U.S. Post Office – Priority Mail Orders

• U.S. Post Office - Retail

Allow approximately 3-5 business days for delivery once shipped.  Please note delivery times are not guaranteed. Because our items are handmade, please allow 7-14 business days for order processing and shipping. RWF is not responsible for lost packages due to inaccurate mailing information. Please locate items with U.S. Post Office.

Each order is packaged using recycled boxes (when possible) If you would like your package to be gift ready, please email hello@restingwitchfacials.com  Smaller, single items will be packaged and shipped in padded mailers to reduce shipping costs and waste.

Customer Satisfaction is our top priority. However, due to the nature of our hand-crafted products, all sales are final. General

Clean means a non-toxic product that is made without a long, ever-evolving list of ingredients linked to harmful health effects from hormone disruption, to cancer, to plain-old skin irritation.

To name just a few: parabens, phthalates, pegs, ethanolamines, chemical sunscreens & synthetic fragrance. Not all chemicals are bad (the world and humans are composed of chemical compounds).

What I focus on not using, are the ingredients banned by the EU. In cosmetics alone, the EU has banned or restricted more than 1,300 chemicals while the US has outlawed or curbed just 11. For more information, read this.

The two terms tend to be used interchangeably, but they mean different things.
vegan means that a product does not contain any animal products or animal-derived ingredients.

Cruelty-free means that the ingredients/components and final product have not been tested on animals.

Resting Witch Facials is proud to be cruelty-free, however some products do contain honey or yogurt, as these have proven to be very healing for inflammatory skin conditions. We are vegan-friendly, please note at the time of your booking that you are vegan.
